I reckon you'd be better off with a 5600FX as well since they aren't much more but will give you a longer life and better image quality

how much are the geforce fx cuz i can get that card for $195 and it has 3 years warrenty
edit: AMD ATHLON/THOROUGHBRED XP2400 (2.0ghz) Socket A does that sound like a better cpu? |

Unless that 5600 is an ultra, which i don't think it is, it is going to be slower than the 4200.

Unless that 5600 is an ultra, which i don't think it is, it is going to be slower than the 4200. Only in some games and not by much at that. Plus when FSAA and Aniso are turned on then the FX leaves the TI for dead. q3a benchmarks q3a benchmarks FSAA + Aniso |

i have that same video card the albatron one and i have the a7n8x deluxe board and an xp2200, 10 000 3d2001 marks... oh and 2x256mb pc3200 ddr

heh p4 2gig asus gf4ti4200 2*256mb pc2100 ram and 10300 3d marks, btw this 2gig does 2.6 with standard cooling and the board is a p4g8x, sifn't intel =p... this is koopz old board and the 2 gig for the record does 3gig with corsair ram...
