Anyone here colour their hair? A couple years ago I had these light chunks put in I think it looked really good, I wouldn't mind doing it again. I've been thinking about doing it myself for about a month now, but am scared i'll fux it up. A friend of mine had their hair coloured so it has motivated me to get off my arse and do something, but i think i might go to get someone to do it cos i'm a bit scared.

Mine's been black lately, professional and homemade.

Still f***ing around with different brands. Stupid fudge that's sold everywhere only lasts a couple of weeks before it goes two tone.

I had mine jet black for a while...basically no one noticed any difference so I just said forget it :D

I've had red and dark blue done, when a hairdresser does it they bleach your hair then apply the colour. It lasts about a month and then there is the bleach, so you might want to try a rinse or something first if you're not sure.

I used to have blue hair. I just used bleach and blue hair dye, it worked really good.

Well I went and got it done for $30 , looks a little yellow, but i'll live.

i use to strip the natural colour out of my hair and then dye it red, after doign that a few times it has f***ed my natural colour and it just doesnt grow back the same, so ive dyed it black.

if you are bleeching it, get it done professionally. don't mess around with that stuff...

i got some blonde tips in the front of my hair where i spike it, it looks pretty good :D

Why should we care about what you think of our hair, people who are that self conscious are probably repressed homosexuals.

I don't recall ever saying that you did have to care about my opinions on what colour/styles etc you apply to your hair. I was merely stating my opinion on it. After all, it is a public forum. You really expect that everyone is going to agree with you, just because that is what you believe?

Its taken them about 10 goes to get my colour mixture white :D

Hair use to go yellow'ish ... but they now use the strongest mox known to man :D

originally when i started experimenting (with hair) i got it dyed black. that was all well and good, but i got sick of it. 'cause it didn't look right without dyed eyebrows, and sif i could be f***ed. so... i decided to get it bleached (i was going for white, like almost old people white (except less transparent from being old)), but they couldn't get it right, and i could't get it right.

then it dawned on me that it was way too much effort to colour (or decolourise, whichever) my hair, and that gene-editing should be available to allow me to just grow it that colour. i also realised it was costing too much.

too much effort + too much money = forget it;

also, i wouldn't trust myself to colour portions of hair - only all the hair. if i were getting parts done, i'd get it done professionally.

i dye my hair blue-black (basically jet black) and am considering putting blue or red streaks in.

done mine before....darker brown...and then black....i reakon it looked pretty swoit...cept for the fact i needed a tan :S

I've had my hair blue, black, red, purple and blonde. My normal hair colour is brown and at the moment my hair is sorta a coppery colour. Gonna get blonde streaks done this Thursday probably.

Also, don't use fudge. It washes out after a couple of weeks, if even that, and the colour goes heaps lighter and looks like pure ass. Better to either go get it done professionally or buy a hair colour changy thing from Coles or someplace if you know you wont f*** it up. I'm lazy so I get the honey bunny at the hairdresser to do it. Plus you get a head massage after.
