Okay, I know that the trailer has been out for a while, and its common knowledge that the next installment of Star Trek Generations movies will be out soon, but I only saw the trailer this morning and want to be the first to say I'm excited!

Anyone else intending to go see this at the cinemas when it first comes out? I understand there will be a midnight screening at Indro and Capalaba etc for it... so I wanna be there!

Its due out in the US on the 13th of Dec, so we should get it here just before xmas.... what a present :)

Anyone been getting into Star Trek - Enterprise?

I reckon it rocks. I admit it's no where near the calibre of Next Gen and Voyager but it's still good. So many people are saying it's s***. Well, you'll all miss out.

Have up to 1.9 on vid reverend, I'll probably have to rebuy em all on dvd soon, but I can't stand watching it on TV.

The BCC site has Nemesis opening on 1 January, however the Courier-Mail had a report last week that it would open on 16 January... so I'll be seeing it whenever it does open at the Indooroopilly Megaplex.

Enterprise is ok, I'm about two weeks behind the episodes in the US - it's interesting but a lot of the material is rewriting Trek history Berman & Braga style which taints it as a series. Still there are a lot of episodes worth watching as well as some shockers.

And to keep the theme going - does anyone know when Starfleet Command III will be available in Australia?

meh, only two star trek series i've seen and enjoyed (movies aside) are the original, and next generation

all the others have been plagued with lame acting, s*** plots, and dumb scripts. i thought voyager was the worst; then came enterprise. christ i'm glad the movies have stayed decent anyway

Next gen was s***, and not just a little s*** ... I mean totaly and utterly s***.

Next Gen and DS9 were the only decent ST series. Voyager sucked - the only decent thing was 7 of 9 and the Doctor. Enterprise...well I don't like any of the characters so it kinda makes it hard to watch.

i don't mind voyager, cuz the doctor rules, 7 of 9 is a honey, and i just ignore the bad acting/scripting. next gen was cool, ds9 ain't bad and i've just plain steered clear of enterprise

I reckon the doctor in Enterprise is great. Reminds of the one from Voyager. I'm not gonna give up on Enterprise as it can only get better.
