all i can say is that i'm f***ING sick of superclans... they might have more skill, but it just doesn't seem the same to me.

the reason for the merger was simple.
LS and f0 were planning on competing at QGL but f0 didn't have enough players, and so half LS were offered to join f0. If this had happened then there would have only been half an LS team to compete. Since we were all good friends, we decided to merge our 2 clans together to form a new one. This solved our previous problem, and worked out well since we won QGL beating ACT and SAS.
We aren't like Jive, acidreign, we all know each other well and we have purposely mixed players from each clan into both teams. We think of it as a new clan, not a merger.
As for the name, we had no idea it had been on tv or whatever...

most the clans ive seen formed by assimilating the better players into one team make some fancy webpage, waste some hosted space on qgl, then disband.

The best part of going to CPL-P is the 500 person LAN. Now there has to be a 32 player Oilrig Server going somewhere....

AHhhhhhhh, the mighty goodness of having the option to run in Software mode :) If my geforce 2 GTS (gracious plug of hardware) ever packs it in (God help me) I can always run it in software mode.

software/gl both ran at like 10-15 fps so gl made like a 2 fps difference for me till swat came along

Well, mP have had 7 tickets paied for and the other 3 are going down on Friday.... So far so good mP still lives and will live.

However I think that if CS (and other games in general) wants to bring the gamming comunity to new competition hights like that of Soccer, Football or table tennis then the organisers of such events should bring in a complete set of rules and regulations that stop the chopping and changing of members of heavily compeating clans. Such rules as if a clan wants to compeate in a competion the clan has to have been around for x number of months, and each player (who is compeating) must be in that clan for x number of months.... Something along those lines would be a good start...

Sorry, but we don't take our CS as seriously as the superclans. We still play it for fun not profit.
