We plan to accumulate 1,000,000 AOL CDs, and at the first instance, we will return them to their rightful owner. So we can tell AOL to their face: "stop doing this".

Haha. About bloody time. Why do AOL insist on sending CDs to people? Some of my relatives who don't even own a PC are constantly receiving AOL cds in the mail. GET THE GOD DAMN MESSAGE AOL - WE DON'T WANT YOU.

Hunter`: and then send them all away

They are here to make money. But they are trying to recruit members the same way as some religions do, thus annoying a lot of people.

AOL send you CD after CD
you throw the CDs out
they send you more CDs

Some religious person forces a brochure in your face and tells you to accept god
you tell them where to go
another one confronts you on the other side of the road.

Its called advertising, and some forms are more intrusive than others.

Dunno, wouldn't be all that expensive to send a small box down (I don't think it'd be more than 100 cds).

Can I bring a box for people to put christian recruiting zealots in? I can send them to the pope or the queen!

It'd probably be cheaper to courier them down there with someone you know. Anyone going to Sydney in the near future?

1. Scratch
scratch (skrăch) v. tr. To make a thin shallow cut or mark on (a surface) with a sharp instrument.
Please scratch the silver side of the CD. This will prevent AOL putting the CD back into circulation. If you aren't sending a large quantity of CDs and have a bit of time consider doing what I have, you don't have to mail and tell me that their is no point:
Get your preferred scratching object and engrave "No More AOL CDs Australia" to about one half of the CD. On the other half, engrave you handle/alias/name and the current date. (I will try and get a picture of what I have done, its a bit hard with all the reflection etc -sime)

yeah, they proxy all of their connections, so a user could be surfing a website and requests could be comming from 5 different ip addresses. so when it comes to banning abusive members from forums, it is a real big problem, as you will end up banning other members aswell.... oh wait, thats bad... my mistake
