At DC FanDome which is taking place this weekend, the heavily hyped net Rockstedy joint, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League made its front and centre debut and, while it's a far cry from the studio's Batman: Arkham efforts, it hasn't failed to excite. With Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and King Shark, the natural expectation is that this is a four-player co-op affair, which it is, and again bucks the studio's Batman roots, however, you can also play the game solo with AI taking on the role of your other Squad members. The teaser image from a few weeks back showed a Superman with glowing red eyes, and today's 'teaser' trailer confirms it's old Supes you're trying to assassinate as the wayward troupe, but the game's title is "Kill the Justice League", so it's not a stretch to consider we'll be seeing other members of DC's goody two-shoes hero squad all turned bad in some way. There's no gameplay here, but the trailer does highlight how well Rocksteady has nailed the tone of the Suicide Squad. Watch it embedded below. |
