Topic: First Look - Star Wars Battlefront II (2017)

So, that's a thing now. We're gonna have to write 2017 after Battlefront II now because otherwise it might be confused with the other Battlefront 2. Story idea: what if we get a First Look from someone who never played the 2005 game of the 2005 game? We could get hands-on before anyone else. Think of the clicks. Watch the trailer below, unless you already watched it when it was leaked last week.

Nathan "NachosJustice" Lawrence is in Florida right now, checking out the Star Wars Celebration, and he's had a brief look at the new Star Wars Battlefront II stuff they're throwing out. The singleplayer stars Janina Gavankar (Shiva from The League), the multiplayer might be 40 player max this time, and Adam Driver's nose is in it. I'm gonna get Nate to ask the team how many polygons that thing takes to create. My guess is... one.

Go read all his thoughts right now, and come back soon for his deep dive interview - I have no idea who he is interviewing though.

Obviously just a launch video. Video looks cool, but they all do these days. I didn't bother with the first one because the game play looked s***. Hopefully they make it better with this version.

Well, I'm already Empress (I don't do male toons) of the Eternal Throne (Universe) x 8 classes in SWToR. I see no reason to play this.

I'm definitely more interested in this than the first one just because of the inclusion of a single player campaign.

How about just calling it EA Battlefront 2? Rolls off the tongue way better.

If they do a good job, I'm interested, but they need to sell me on it. First one looked amazing and sounded amazing and nailed the feeling of being inside a star wars battle, there was just very little actual game there.

Is the last (current?) SW Battlefront worth picking up or did I miss the hype train for it and noone plays it? It looked like great fun
