Blizzard's Rob Pardo has mentioned to MTV's Multiplayer blog that if James Cameron came to the mega developer/publisher tomorrow and said "You want to make a StarCraft movie?" they'd be all over it. "We probably could have made a [StarCraft] movie or something on TV years and years ago," he told the site. "But it's really important to us that we find creative people that are really talented but also really excited about our properties. That's always been the challenge for us." The World of WarCraft movie is still in the works though, but when asked how it's travelling Pardo could only offer that it's "still in that story-development phase". Would Cameron make a good StarCraft flick? |

If there's one thing StarCraft universe is in need of, it's the back story of how Protoss reproduce by touching their hairy tails together. |

Cameron has got the Midas touch. Give him a the green light and watch fans scramble for the première like cracklings. |

Should be collaboration between Nolan brothers and Cameron..
Nolans would be able to write perfect story for it and Cameron will be able to make it look good. |

i don't hate it, i still haven't seen it though. I heard it's kind of boring & lame without the 3d gimmick so never bothered with it either. |

Problem is that the nolan brothers prefer to use the IMAX rather than the 3d..... both are completely different styles of directing... nolans create more of a dark sinister world.... would make a good movie on kerrigans side whereas cameron makes a better fantasy style movie which would be good all round for starcraft. i would pick cameron over the nolans for this particular movie |

I would have thought you meant 'zerglings' ;-) Zerglings + run speed + attack speed upgrades are often referred to as cracklings. Because they're zerglings on crack, ya see. I'd watch and enjoy a Cameron StarCraft film. |

Cameron would be perfect for anything Blizzard since neither of them like to use material that hasn't been done before.
I heard it's kind of boring & lame without the 3d gimmick so never bothered with it either.Anyone who hasn't seen Avatar isn't qualified to comment on 3D movies basically. It might be an overly long, overly hippy story but it sure was purdy. |
