S2Games, indie developer for Savage 1 and 2 (both games that S2Games admits fell short of their expectations), has released some sneak peaks for their next title, Heroes of Newerth, on their facebook page (currently the main source of official information about their next title).
The game is currently in closed beta with regular beta invites being handed out to the current testers, so they can invite their friends to help 'test'.

The reason for the lack of information about HoN is because S2Games doesn't want to repeat any previous mistakes that they made with Savage 2 which was delayed for over 2 years. If you want to keep up to date with HoN then keep an eye on the following links...

So It's another DotA style game using an S2 engine?

Yeah same engine that they built for Savage 2 (and future games obviously). It has been enhanced a fair bit which shows in HoN.

Heavily influenced by Warcraft III. Why would anyone bother to jump boat to this when the mod is free and does fine?
