If you want a server where it's damn near impossible to get a PuG during Australian prime-time and joining a raiding guild means waking up at 7am on a sunday, frostmane's your place.

Alliance on Kel'Thuzad (lowbie rogue).

Although I haven't played too much on there, Kel'Thuzad seems fairly decent. Not nearly as painful as Blackrock.

And i have a 38 hunter, 50 pally and 21 warlock on blackrock. (Alliance)

When server transfers come in i might transfer all to proudmoore, so i can at least try to do tradeskill changes etc. Tired of pvp, i can still use battlegrounds on pve servers.

I am hopeful that it will enable players to transfer to other servers. If its a fee based & time restricted thing then i doubt many people would bother.

I played a warrior to 60 from release and eventually sold the account. I had about 4 months off without wow and just now ive started playing again with a hunter on the new PVPRP server, maelstorm.

Up to lv50 now... loads of fun on the server so im quite happy im back. No one is 50+ yet though :( so its hard finding groups.

The only downside of the server is that at any time there are about 20+ lv60 hunters in maraudon gold farming for the greater good of mother china. God damn gold farmers.

Damn, if you are complaining about leveling up time now IMAGINE in 20 levels time when it takes 8 hours to level one level vs 8 hours to level to lev 10.

Im the same...2 Tarnished Elven Rings,2 Bone Slicing Hatchets with +15 agility enchants on both,+8 Agility on both my Helm and leggings.Even then though unbuffed i just hit 400 Agility.HUnters have a much lower chance to crit then say a warrior at the same level =(

I have only been to molten core once. My guild sucks and I don't have any connections to get me hooked up for MC runs, plus there is an oversupply of hunters on proudmoore anyway.

[Staff of Dominance] is a perfect weapon for a Resto. spec shaman...

Show me a better combo up to MC standards?

Staff of Dominance is a mage's weapon first and foremost imo, until they get the equivelent of the priests :)

Utility classes like shammies should get sweet fa ;)

Although been ages since I played, maybe mages have an epic already.

Mages get more +dam from [Azuresong Mageblade] + [Fire Runed Grimoire]

It's a fantastic shaman weapon, spec depending. (I'm 37resto for example)

Just disputting the fact that you think its mage first.

As a shaman, I use all of the stats/effects, aswell as the DPS. Sounds like it's better for me? :)

Its great for all classes.

I'd agree with hemerage on SoD being a Shaman weapon.

In fact, I still have no idea why shamans wield 2h axes/maces and waste a talent point when equally-high DPS, similar speed staves are just as (if not more) readily available with more suitable stats. The 2hander would have to have an incredible proc to make it worthwhile, imo.

Finkle's dredger is nice though :)

Edit: WTF Exis, Drac deflector would be a major waste of time on a shaman as +def does dick for PvP and it has minimal stamina. Sacred protector & something like that +healing mace from BRD all the way as a far more suitable low-end option.

Weapon switch to SoD to lay down the ownage when you're not getting beaten on.

Spinal reaper f***ing tears on anyone who can wield it. Hell, I'd be scared of a hunter raptor striking with that thing.

As for arcanite reaper? Let's compare it with a similarly easy to obtain staff with actual STATS.

SoD does still crit for 700~ odd on windfury... it's not too cheese (+2 other attacks)
