STUPID IGNORANT f***S. "We'll make a big glace crater out of the f***ing middle east", that was kinda funny but the rest of it was just mind boggling. YEAH LET'S INVADE ITALY, FRANCE, RUSSIA, >>KOREA(DOESN'T DISTINGUISH NORTH FROM SOUTH<< AND THE REST OF OUR ALLIES YOU STUPID f***S. Why are these people allowed to live?!?!? "Iran... yeah I think they have a revolution coming up" Does that stupid bitch even know what a revolution is? It's not really the kind of thing you advertise before hand... ARGH...

uh, is there actually any names on that map? There looked to be writing on it that I can't read either s*** video quality or the fact my eyes won't focus right now but australia seemed to have 2 words to it. I think some dumb s*** wrote the wrong name on the map.

Maybe the wrote it there on purpose to see if anyone could tell the difference? Either that or the whole thing was a setup, I thought people could only be that dumb by putting it on.

It was on CNNNN on the ABC a few years ago. For those who can't read it, they put names like "Iran" and "France" on Australia, and Americans pin it as a target.

The last guy at the end is the funniest, where the mainland is "North Korea", and Tasmania is "South Korea", and he can't get over the size difference.

I know, n-dude. too funny. "man i never knew NK was so much bigger than the south" or something he said.

And yeah, that's what they did everyone. put the wrong names on countries, see who they could trick.

Don't these people watch news or even read? damm.

My improved map of the world.

There are varying reasons why the marked countries have been removed - it could be anything from poor economic status to inability to coexist peacefully with [certain] other countries.

But all up, I think we would see a great improvement overall with this :)

^ Agreed.

CNNNN did a whole series of those a few years ago, like walking the streets in LA and asking random people random geography questions. You sit there watching in total awe, dont know whether to:

a) Laugh at the stupidity
b) Gawk in disbelief at the stupidity
c) Cringe at the scary level of stupidity

Either way great entertainment value.

You could have made that map by getting rid of the US, and you wouldn't have had to get rid of like half of those other countries.

Although they were set up with Australia having a different country name in it each time, it's still sadly true.

From http://archives.cnn.com/2002/EDUCATION/11/20/geography.quiz/
• Thirty-four percent of the young Americans knew that the island used on last season's "Survivor" show was located in the South Pacific, but only 30 percent could locate the state of New Jersey on a map. The "Survivor" show's location was the Marquesas Islands in the eastern South Pacific.

• When asked to find 10 specific states on a map of the United States, only California and Texas could be located by a large majority of those surveyed. Both states were correctly located by 89 percent of the participants. Only 51 percent could find New York, the nation's third most populous state.

• On a world map, Americans could find on average only seven of 16 countries in the quiz. Only 89 percent of the Americans surveyed could find their own country on the map.

• In the world map test, Swedes could find an average of 13 of the 16 countries. Germans and Italians were next, with an average of 12 each.

• Only 71 percent of the surveyed Americans could locate on the map the Pacific Ocean, the world's largest body of water. Worldwide, three in 10 of those surveyed could not correctly locate the Pacific Ocean.

• Although 81 percent of the surveyed Americans knew that the Middle East is the Earth's largest oil exporter, only 24 percent could find Saudi Arabia on the map.

Only 89% of them even know where their own country is!!

Out of curiousity I did this quiz on the US states and got 108/150 (no Googling, and I've never been to the US)

ROFL! It's only one of the biggest by land mass and is also an extremely obvious shape. I bet those 11% have never even been outside thier own state.

I'd agree with that, but I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as the Americans in that video. Living in Europe, I'm sure people are very "border aware" because that's how Europe is.

Also... come on.. not being able to find your OWN country? That's just amazing...
