These were the songs that kept me groovin through the past month..

01. Tiefshwarz - Never. Two German siblings who's name litterally mean 'Deep Black' have created a nice song with a beautiful melody and vocals singing about never wanting to grow old. Sounds gay I know, but it's a cool song nevertheless.

02. Crazy Penis - You Are We. Smooth lounge grooves and stylish beats with this awesome track currently being pumped out by JJJ.

03. Cassius - The Sound of Violence. Awesome funky beat and lyrics. "I feel like I wanna be, inside of you, when the sun goes down..."

04. Death in Vegas - Scorpio Rising. Warm sunday afternoon, beer with mates, Liam Gallagher wailing "If I don't go crazy, I lose my mind". j0rsome.

05. Groove Armada - Easy. What can you say, brilliant melding of beats, vocals and strings "cos looking back it was easy..."

06. Praga Khan - Breakfast in Vegas. Bangin dance beat with cool vocal drops "I smell your sweat on my skin, breakfast in Vegas on cocain and gin".

07. John Silver - Come On Over. Party time! Catchy dance tune and infective loop. "Just come on over..c'mon!!"

08. Jakatta - One Fine Day. More class work from Jakatta. Collaborating with Beth Hirsh who often appears in Air songs. Beautiful.

09. Ladytron - Seventeen. Very modern electro beats. "They only want you when you are 17, when you are 21 - you're no fun". Cool.

10. Oxygen - Am I On Your Mind. This dance song reminds me of a certain chick (she sung it to me!), beautiful melody and female vocals.

So what songs got high rotation on your Winamp playlists last month?

TAKE ME AWAY - 4 STRINGS (wildfm style uplifting trance)

mad tune, heard it friday nite at the boys place before we went out, ive still got it stuck in my head;
cant get enuff of it;

i notice that getaway is now using it as its theme and i heard it in an ad for Cream Trance collections;

GET IT NOW AND THANK ME;

also been listening to some Kruder and Dorfmeister tunes in preparation for their upcoming gig at arena

wont be to everybody's taste but they do have some phat dnb sounds and some more mellow dub sounds

worth a listen;

07. John Silver - Come On Over. Party time! Catchy dance tune and infective loop. "Just come on over..c'mon!!"

Not sure about that one Strex. That song is rather ghey. I thought it was alright when I first heard it but there's something about it that screams, "I'm ghey."

I've been getting into some good ole Aussie metal of late, especially these guys who do it so hard it hurts ;)

http://www.theberzerker.com/

The newest album is called Dissimulate - I recommend the tracks Compromise and also Disregard for a good taste of what they do.

This is some of the most vicious death metal there is, so don't bother if you prefer Top 40 :D

Hehe

Yeah, I love being at the Family when they play that and Layo & Bushwacka vs Planet Funk - Chase The Love Story. No good to dance to if the floor is packed though.

Also dont mind that DJ Sneak - Fix My Sink song. It's pretty cool.

What would be awesome is if the Family posted up on their website the tracklists for each night. That would be unreal.
