Freedom of speech in Australia is pretty mis-understood. It is basicly implied that Australian Citizens have the right to bitch and whinge about the government, and the government can't do anything to stop it.

However lets get into particulars. In this particular case you don't have the right to say anything you like, if it is deemed offencive by any of the QGL Moderators, Admins or patrons (thats you guys).

Sure you can say it in your own homes, but this is more like you comming into our home, and saying it there. We have the right to get you to leave.

Thats the simple low down and dirty on freedom of speech in australia ... it isn't nearly as simple as America (where you do almost have the right to say anything you most likly say unless it is realy offensive to most people or at least minorities with lots of cash).

I don't understand why people are so surprised that a terrorist attack such as this could occur in the world's LARGEST Muslim nation - which had 30 reported terrorist bombings last year alone. Not to mention the fact that Indonesia has had religious turmoil for years and years prior. I'm not even slightly surprised that this sort of thing happened.
